With the advent of the federal government "Cheaper Home Batteries Program", affordable battery sizes have increased dramatically. The average battery size installed is now about 30kWh. Our new house battery has 48kWh. Depending on your EV, you can charge it about 50% to 80% and still have some juice left for the house.
Within 10 months, about 350,000 house batteries have been installed here in Australia. That's 1 in 10 batteries installed worldwide. Finally, real power to the people!
